Sinclaire currently serves as a Sales Manager for the East Coast & Midwest territories at global business media outlet, Forbes. Here she leads a team and works to grow existing and prospective advertising partnership accounts against Forbes' product lines, including: Forbes.com, Forbes Magazine, Social, BrandVoice, Insights, and ForbesLive tentpoles (most notably their 30 Under 30 program). Most recently, she and her team were awarded a gold-level B2B Communicator Award for their work on a sustainability campaign for a leading consumer brand. Prior to joining Forbes in 2021, she was an Account Executive at the New York City branch of the world’s leading #1 video game website, IGN Entertainment Inc. (a subsidiary of international publishing company, Ziff Davis LLC/J2 Global). In this role she supported her territory’s Sales Manager in overseeing digital media accounts to ensure the successful pitching, planning, and execution of online advertising campaigns for top clients. Leading up to her promotion to Account Executive, Sinclaire started her career as a as Digital Sales Coordinator for both IGN and AskMen (a popular men’s lifestyle portal).
Before moving to New York City to kick-start her professional journey, Sinclaire graduated from Columbia College-Chicago, where she was a Presidential Scholarship recipient and consecutive Dean's List student who earned her B.A. in Marketing Communications with a minor in Fashion Business. During her time at Columbia, she managed a full-time college program, campus involvement, internships, and employment. Her senior year - she assumed the role of Marketing Communications Intern at non-profit, Dress For Success Worldwide-Central where she worked with the development team on donor outreach, event planning, and building the affiliate's online presence. The summer prior, Sinclaire studied abroad in Prague as part of a marketing team for FCB Advertising with the objective to create a strategic marketing plan which would increase the participation level of younger adult audiences with Hudebni Divadlo Karlin, the largest musical theater in the Czech Republic.
In 2015, she and a small team of colleagues were awarded "Best Strategic Partnership" by their instructors for a product they designed in their Special Topics: National Retail Federation Competition Course. Subsequently, Sinclaire received a scholarship to attend the National Retail Federation's Annual 'Big Show' conference in New York City as a representative of her school. During her earlier college years, Sinclaire was President of the Columbia College Fashion Association; and was also a Research Intern with multi-cultural advertising agency, Burrell Communications, as well as a Social Media Intern for tech start-up, Mentor Mob.
Sinclaire has always been actively involved in her communities. While at Ziff Davis, she supported the J2 Women’s Leadership & IGN Cares programs as an event facilitator. Today she is a mentor for Forbes’ HBCU scholars program, continues to volunteer at Dress for Success through their New York headquarters, and often helps to host in-person and virtual networking events for the New York City Alumni Chapter of her alma mater, Columbia College Chicago. In her free time, Sinclaire enjoys travel and exploring her city.
